To assess the health of your entire mouth, we provide a 12 Point Check. It helps us lower your risk for future problems and prevent them at an early stage. As a standard, we also provide an oral cancer check when we examine your oral health.
Our friendly dental professionals will start by asking you a series of questions regarding your oral health.
If you do have any worries or dental problems, your friendly Kent Smile Studio dentist will actively discuss them with you in an understanding manner.
We will enquire about your general health to find out if any health issues are impacting your oral health, and if you require any medication.
We will ask you about your thoughts, feelings and opinions on your smile. How do you feel you would like your smile to improve?
We will examine your teeth to check for any decay, damage or other potential issues.
We will examine any previous dental work done to check if it still benefits your oral health to its full potential.
We will also examine your gums to determine if there are any early signs of gum disease.
If we identify any plaque on your teeth, we will discuss how to manage this problem sufficiently.
We will examine the soft tissues in your mouth, including your tongue and cheeks.
The outside of your mouth will also be checked.
To maintain our thorough approach to your oral health, we will check the areas surrounding your teeth as there may be potential problems hidden in these hard to view areas.
Your jawbone will be assessed as it plays a big part in your oral health, holding your teeth firmly in position.
